Cherrelle Skeete

Deviser, Singer and Actor


Born and raised in Birmingham,Cherrelle has been part of grass roots projects from a very young age which has shaped her love and passion for creating 'Art for Change'.Graduating in 2011 from Central School Of Speech and Drama studying Collaborative and Devsied Theatre Cherrelle has been part of development of a one woman show tiled Dung Beetle devised with Benji Reid's company Breaking Cycles. Cherrelle is currently in the West End's The Lion King as a swing and Shenzi cover.


Cherrelles acting credits include ;24 hour Plays (Old Vic New Voices), Wind In The Willows (Sixteen Feet Productions), And I And Silence (The Finborough Theatre) The Edge (New Diorama Theatre), SOLD (Central School of Speech and Drama). Rehearsed readings include Back Home Contemplation (The Finborough Theatre)Text Generation (Unicorn Theatre), All Or Nothing (Leicester Square theatre), A Teenagers Guide to Surviving Sex Slavery from I am an Emotional Creature (WOW festival/South Bank centre).
